Summary

I’m Caroline, a pluralistic therapist, that means recognising that everyone is different and no single approach fits all. Together, we can draw from person‑centred therapy, CBT, trauma‑informed practice, mindfulness and psychodynamic ideas, shaping the sessions around what feels most helpful for you. This might look like exploring emotions, noticing patterns, building coping strategies, or finding ways to communicate more clearly when things feel overwhelming or triggering.

When life feels heavy or confusing, having somewhere safe for you to pause, breathe, and feel properly heard can make such a difference. I offer gentle, flexible support for adults and young people who are dealing with anxiety, low mood, stress, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, self‑harm, or the emotional impact of difficult experiences. My work is always trauma‑informed.

I have specialist experience supporting children and young people with anxiety, low mood, self‑esteem, self‑harm, suicidal thoughts and neurodiversity. I also support adults who are looking for clarity, steadiness and long‑term resilience, including those navigating burnout, stress, relationship difficulties and major life transitions.

I also work with carers and family members affected by dementia. Caring for someone you love can bring exhaustion, guilt, grief and a real sense of losing yourself. I offer a space where carers can feel seen and supported, and where their own needs can be explored without judgement or pressure.

In counselling sessions, you can expect warmth, steadiness and a collaborative approach. We work at your pace and what’s right for you, making sense of what feels difficult and gently building confidence and resilience as we go.
